At first glance I thought these were Sims 3 homes, but was 'pleasantly' surprised to see they are for Sims2.
I'm back with my Sims2 buddies playing a mega hood, and I can't wait to put some of these fabulous homes of yours into play.

These are very nice homes! Twoyys, are you still playing Sims 3 or have you gone back to Sims 2 like a lot of other Simmers have done?

Hi Nik,

I am back with TS2 now. I enjoyed TS3 although a lot of the camera movement gave me a little motion type sickness- that's 3D for you I guess. I also just missed all the strange and unusual about TS2.

I mentioned that I'm playing a megahood- I got it from MATY and it's Pleasantview, but with all the other hoods as sub hoods- so I now have some great partnerships on the go- Pascal Curious married Cassandra Goth, Buck Broke is in love with Beatrice Monty... the list is endless.

I also downloaded some cleaned up templates for Uni and the BV vacation destinations, which keeps the population count down.

I'm loving it. How about you? Still with Sims3? Did you get the World Adventures? I never got it yet and so far am quite happy back with the Sims2.

I currently have 2 college homes with 8 sims in each ready to start the next generation, and with a 3rd house of 8 about to start.

I must admit I wish we had the TS3 creating tool for TS2, to make all matching stuff was one of the things I loved the most about TS3.

I've been playing Sims 3 and I do have the World Adventures expansion pack. I've also been playing with the NRaas Story Progression Mod, which is an offshoot of the IndieStone Mod. That mod makes the game totally playable for me. Without it, I'd have given up on Sims 3 ages ago. But as it stands, I can't have too much custom content or else the game performance slows down incredibly.

I purchased a new pc for Christmas. I thought that would solve all of the performance issues. I was wrong. The screens take a very long time to load and the gameplay lags quite a bit. And this is with a brand new pc! As it stands, I have no intention of purchasing another EP. My computer just wouldn't support it.

I know a lot of people have gone back to Sims 2. That is, those who even moved on to Sims 3 in the first place. A lot of people never left Sims 2. Many of the former Brekkie Club members have gone back to Sims 2. I keep in touch with them on Facebook. I'm thinking about going back to Sims 2 myself. While I love the ability to customize content in game, the slow game performance and frequent crashes are a big turn off for me. I haven't played Sims 3 in over a week and I don't really miss it. I do miss my Strangetown and Pleasantview families.

I'll probably re-install my Sims 2 game and EPs and SPs. If I do, I'll be interested in that megahood and the cleaned-up templates that you mentioned. Of course, I'd also have to install SimPE on my new pc, too. Lots of setup work before I'm back in business. But I'll keep you posted.

I just don't see how Electronic Arts can keep adding EPs to the Sims 3 game. The performance would be horrible!
