I thought I'd take advantage of this cozy little corner Val was so generous to bestow upon me and start this new thread. In February, I started "So, what's new in your game lately?" over at Basic Forum. So far, it's been a pretty popular topic.
I know I've always enjoyed schmoozing about what I'm up to with my Sims and I'm hoping some of you do, too.
It doesn't necessarily have to be about your Sim fams and antics. You could talk about anything you've been working on.
Here are some examples of what you could share ...
Are you working on building a new Sim mansion? Decorating a beach house? Messing around in BodyShop? Doing some new recolors? Putting together a new set for a Sim story?
Did you just create a new Sim family you'd like to share? Or have you been playing a beloved Sim recently, that you've had in your game forever?
Whatever you've been doing when your game is loaded up, I'd love it if you'd post about it here. And don't forget the screenshots!

I'm busy writing a few challenges at the moment which I'll share with the community once I've played through them to make sure they are all feasable and will work. I'm also continuing to write a novel which Sims2 got me started on as a sims2 story. I have finished one which I am looking for a publisher for. It's a fictional memoir. Some of you would have read the outlines, "The Carlon Family Chronicles." I have turned it into a 75 chapter novel. So if anyone you know has contacts in the area of publication in the US or Australia please let me know. regards, Jen

I was having issues with my Belladonna Cove neighborhood. Every time I tried to load it, my game would crash. So I reset it this past weekend and have started it over. This time, Kimberly Cordial opted to become a good witch much to the chagrin of her close friend, the Evil Witch. She is now married to Julien Cooke. Of course, I've spent more time remodelling their house than anything else! Oh, by the way, her sister Samantha married Schuyler Goodie, son of Faith and Herbert Goodie. I used SimPE to de-age Faith so that they could have a child. They are now living at a beach house and are expecting their first child. I also played the Ramaswami family. Sanjay met up with a falling satellite so Priya married her Sugar Daddy lover, Carlos Contender. They have a son whom they named Priyo. I cheated and used Merola64's Multi-Painting to rapidly age him into adulthood and Priya into an elder. Priyo met up with Chastity Gere and those two are now married. That's it, so far!

This thread is going to be fun.
Well I have built a new home named Glendale Place and have moved my new Asian-American family, the Sawyers, in to it. The patriach of the family is Alec, he has a career as a hostage negotiator....his wife Asia is a Senior college professor, their eldest, Amberlyn, is their beautiful, hard-working daughter, who works in the food industry, their second daughter, Aprille is doing well in school and hopes for private school...their youngest, a son named Aiden, just grew into a child. Along with pets, Jasper the dog and Leeloo the cat are all thriving in Desiderata Villiage (the shopping district, I created) a surburb of Desiderata Villiage. I have high hopes for them..Amberlyn had a taste of being bad, by sneaking out the house wsith her friend Jack. I will keep everyone informed of their activites.

How wonderful! You sure have a lot going on in your games, Nik and Baby. That's awesome. I'd love it if you'd share screenshots of the Sim fams you've been spending time with. I always enjoy getting the visual on these things. Jen, good luck with getting your novel published. I wish you all the very best with it. And writing new challenges! WOW! I'm always looking for those I can do that only require the base game and NL, as except for Freetime (which I love as much as Nightlife), I don't have any other EPs installed. Thank you, three, for sharing your projects and Sim antics with us. I'm currently enjoying the Valentine Family: Megan & Maggie and their lovely adopted daughter, Maura. I haven't enjoyed a family this much in awhile and have decided I am not using a single cheat the whole time I'll be playing them. So far, they have a plump little bank account, a nice little abode (which I've just had to add on to and am finally getting decorated decently as the funds come in), and the elder Valentines have made it to the top of the Intelligence careers. They are the heads of the SCIA, and even though they're now seniors, they're having far too much fun running the Arbor Heights Intelligence Agency to send into retirement at this time. Their daughter, Maura, is a Restauranteur, which I believe may be level 9 in Culinary, but don't quote me on that. She is engaged to Madison Adele, whom she (like her parents before her have with one another) has triple chem with. Here's the lovely Miss Maura, having some fun in the tub. I don't know why this always cracks me up, but it still does. Other than that family, I've been recoloring CC for Sugah's Place and just recently submitted a bedroom set called "Love, Harmony and Cats" to The Corner in our Goodies section. I will post some more screenshots soon. Happy Simming, creating, writing & downloading!

Hi Baby, there is just a massive "server offline" symbol, Baby, can you delete it or fix it. If not let us know and we can deal with it.

It sounds (and looks!) like everyone is having fun in their games. I am in a new hood at the moment, where I was originally testing a Uni challenge I made for my sims. I used Stella Terrano for the challenge, from the La Fiesta Tech college pre-made family bin. After graduation Stella moved into the hood and her greek house friend Monica Bratford also set up home, along with several other graduate sims. At one time I had a greek house in college where members would wear the secret society uniform, so I have a couple of ex-ss members in the 'hood as well. At Stella's wedding to her llama mascot fiance you can see Monica and another greek house friend of Stella's here- The guy (forgot his name already) is married now also, and sports a better hair cut these days. Mr Big (Stuart) and The Diva (Jaiden) (from Nightlife) got together as well- they've just returned from their vacation home in the mountain, they just love karaoke- who knew? Each home I play is fun- Monica Bratford is great to play- I've never seen so many facial expressions on one sim- here feeling the burn on vacation, and here with her husband Nolan- Monica is the Mayor of this town, and Nolan is the Chief of Staff. In his spare time he enjoys dressmaking, he even made his own suit. Monica is a potter and they just recently became parents to little Erica. As a random point of trivia- you won't find Monica's glasses anywhere in the game! (weird- I know and they aren't cc). Stella meanwhile is at the top of the Paranormal career where her nature loving husband Curtis is the top of Oceanography- he enjoys fishing and gardening. They have 2 children, Debs and Tanner- and recently acquired their first vacation home after Curtis got a big bonus from work. Here on the beach enjoying typical family moments, and after meeting with a mysterious witch doctor, (some feel the burn more than others)... I do think Stella is one of the prettiest aliens in the game, here with Curtis- who still proudly bears his six pack from his college days as mascot- I also have the two challenge homes in this hood that I play by Jen's rules- I must get back to those! Oh, I loved seeing all your screenshots and reading about what's going on in your game, Twoyys. So many sun burned Sims! Too funny! Thank you for sharing.
