I know that bringing one family from another neighborhood to a new one can damage your game.
If I downloaded all the families from the site, could I use them all safely in one neighborhood?

Hi there, y'know- there are no stupid questions. The reason transferring families from one hood to another causes problems is that it breaks all the links they have to people they've met, married, divorced, killed, etc etc. They still have the memory, but nothing in the new 'hood to link it to (as aforementioned spouses/victims/friends aren't there with them). Sometimes it takes a while to even notice problems but they do creep in eventually. Anyway- I would strongly suggest using the Clean Installer- sims2pack.modthesims2.com/ to install our families- that way you can just install the house/family and leave out all the extras that may pop up. I'm sure somewhere there is a combined 'hood with all the families in, and all the links fixed. I will look around and see if I can find it but am not sure which site it's at. Watch this space, Twoyys

Hi Twoyys4me. Thanks for the quick response!
Yes, I know about that combined neighborhood, but it's on MTS2, which is down and they dont know when it will be back up.
I'd wait, but Im not a patient person lol

Hi cme, lol, I'm not that patient myself. I did see it was at MTS2 yesterday while browsing- I think the install instructions would be enough to put me off- lol. Anyway- use the clean installer to install our families as suggested- if I were you I'd do them one or two at a time. Happy Simming Twoyys
