The only lot in the game I see being that size is the stadium, I'm sure there might be a few others, but nothing residential appears to be that size. Too bad we can't edit lots, in a way that it reduces or enlarges them in size, that has to be a pretty huge lot.

My pregnant Sim got instructions to visit the city graveyard. And she discovered an uncut purple rock. She took it home , and I took it out of her inventory and placed on the table for decoration. After a few days I pointed my Sim to view it at that time that was the only thing you could do.Then things in the house was breaking down sinks toilets you get the picture. So I had her husband go and view it and he was given an option to get cut "get cut " was all that it said.Still everything in the home was breaking down all at the same time , I was so fed up I had him get cut.Now i have a beautifully cut purple diamond, so he gives it to his wife with my help he , he.And now I cant find the stupid thing and after awhile things were good .Then everything started breaking down again! So I moved them, instead of upgrading everything. But I cant help what would have happened if I took it to the Masterminds thief's home?

I got a magic gnome! My sim collects gems and rocks and he keeps sending the gems off in the mail to get cut into their various forms (the shape you can get it cut into changes the more you send). Anyway, he picked up his post one day and got the message that 'this gem was infact a magic gnome'. The magic gnome looks like the normal garden gnome except he has a star on his hat. He moves around in the night, I found him perched on the bar one morning. lol. I'm hoping to get another to see what multiple magic gnomes do. Twoyys

I'm hoping to get another to see what multiple magic gnomes do. Wouldn't they make magic together? One of my Sims found a garden gnome in the catacombs at the graveyard. I'm guessing there's nothing magical about this one. And thanks for the tip about having gems recut. I never thought to do that!

Because I'm sure if you get it from the catacombs it's a magic one. Here's a pic, the magic gnomes are the ones with the star on their hats, and I assume they are all the same colour, mine are. My sim came downstairs to find this one morning, I guess he's a fan of the game. lol. They don't physically move, they just disappear and reappear in different places. I think I have 4 of them now, I got all mine from cutting gems but I've read you can reel them in from fishing and also finding them in the catacombs. Twoyys

I saw the cutest autonomous activity last night. Seth McKinney is the toddler son of Molly (French) McKinney. He was busy playing with his toys. I wasn't watching him too much. His mother was playing the guitar nearby. I then watched the little tyke open the lid to the toy box and climb inside! He continued to play with toys inside the box. I snapped a picture of it but didn't get it uploaded to photobucket as of yet. I'll do that tonight and update this post.
So far, I'm loving this game!

I've finally figured out how to make my Wedding Pavilion lot active as a chosen party venue.
I added a second bbq and picnic table to the lot and also a small pond (although I never tested it without the pond, could be fine without).
Then my Sims were able to choose it as a party venue. I placed a copy of the lot in the empty commercial lot which is up on Oak Grove Road (near the Single Moms Household).
My current sims just enjoyed their wedding party there. I think I will take out the chairs in the pavilion, aesthetically pleasing as they are they just got in the way as no sims actually sat on them- shame, would have been nice if EA had included that part of TS2 into TS3.

Ambrosia really seems to be the food of life, or long life that is. I haven't got fed up of Claire Ursine yet and she reached 100 days old, so I decided to have her make Ambrosia and her life span went from 100 days old to just 69! Wow, I'm so pleased with that. Now she can hopefully get to the top of the Culinary career, she already topped the Criminal career but decided a life of crime wasn't for her. Oh, and she got a 'divine meal' moodlet which lasted for 7 days. She's a grandma to twins (who are now teens). She enjoyed reading to them when they were toddlers, which gave them a boost in the writing skill for when they became children. Twoyys

Here's something I found out whilst creating my latest lot,
If you go to place multiple shrubs and trees they change size. I was placing some small palm trees and I noticed I got 3 different sizes.
I tested it out on some of the other trees and shrubs and it even works for some of the smaller flower plants.
Quite a nice find to make our sims' gardens a little more authentic.
