Hello folksies! I seem to be making up for lost time by posting a lot lately, eh? Anyway! Can someone help! I am making this school but the roof slope is weird! On one side it's all smooth and on the other it's all bumpy! I just want it to look the same. I used the exact same method/measurement when I did the floorelevation trick!

Wow that is weird! I think it is because of the slope sizes, the smooth one is like 4 tiles and the others are less, have you tried adjusting them individually? I know it is a pain but that is the only way I can think to fix it.

Did you try to adjust it individually ? Because the buildings are not exactly the same I think boolprop didnt work the same way. I think that is your only alternative to fix it.

wyrmking,
Looks like you have the "boolprop constrainfloorelevation false" cheat turned on and you've altered the elevation of the flat roof. Use the Level Tool (used to level the landscape) and stretch it over the entire roof such that it's all highlighted in green. Release your mouse button. Then, the roof should return to being flat. Make sure that the first square that you highlight in green is at the elevation that you desire for your roof. Once done, turn off this cheat by repeating it but use "true".
Best Regards, Nik

Hi Nikki, actually the roof is sloped. I don't want it flat. =)
But the roof sloped on the right side is smooth, while the two on the left side is bumpy. Which is weird, since I did all of them the same way. Same number of clicks, etc. =(

Thanks Val! =D
Hmm, maybe you can check the file in your game? And see if you can do something about it?
It's just my little OCD won't let it go!

I would be happy to try, but don't expect miracles I can only try what I suggested I don't know of any other way. Is there any cc in it? I am going to use clean installer to add it to my game. Click on the letter icon for my email & send it to me

The only CCs are school table, a school chair, and a wallpaper I made.
I will send it to you as soon as I get home!
Oh and I forgot, I also have Numenor's wall thingies from MTS2. But I think all the decent builders have those anyway. =)

Try moving the lot so that both sides of the school with sloped roofs are facing the sun. Do that from the Neighborhood View. It might just be a quirk with the way the game generates shadows. And if that doesn't work, try using the Lot Adjuster program (available from ModTheSims2) to change the direction the sun is facing. I think that should fix it.
